How online therapy works

By video call

We meet in a session by video call, face to face. You only need a phone or computer with a camera and an internet connection. I send you the link; you do not install anything complicated.

Flexible and with no commuting

You choose times that fit your day and connect from wherever you are. No traffic, no waiting rooms, no losing half an afternoon for a one-hour session.

As effective as in person

Online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy for most reasons for consultation. The same CBT and EMDR tools, the same bond, the same care.

A secure connection and a completely confidential space, just like in the consulting room. What we talk about stays between us, protected by professional confidentiality.

Brief and solution-focused therapy

Brief solution-focused therapy starts from a simple idea: you do not need to dig up years of the past to begin changing what weighs on you today. We look at what you want to achieve, what already works in your life, and which small steps bring you closer to feeling better.

Each session is oriented towards concrete goals. That makes the process shorter and therefore more accessible and efficient: fewer sessions to reach what matters to you. It is not about therapy being "cheap", but about not dragging it out longer than necessary and making good use of your time and effort.

When deeper work is needed, I integrate CBT tools and EMDR. The plan is always adjusted to you: no more, no less.

My approach: CBT and EMDR

As a cognitive behavioural psychologist, I work on the relationship between what you think, what you feel and what you do. I give you practical tools to understand your patterns, regulate anxiety and move what you have long wanted to change.

When there are difficult experiences that keep activating in the present, I add EMDR therapy, which helps to process those memories so they lose their charge. All of this can also be done online, without losing effectiveness.

If you prefer broader, ongoing support, we work on it in individual therapy, in person in Madrid or online. I do not promise magic cures: I support you with a method and at your own pace. If you want to know who you will be working with, you can get to know me a little better.
